At the Herbert Pen Company there are several models to choose from. Our models can be seen below as well as a brief description of their characteristics.

Models: Work

The Poe

The Poe has a straight cap with a step at the body. The body will have a slight taper towards the end of the pen. Finials can be squared, beveled, rounded or customized. The pen can also be postable upon request. The cap and body of this pen can also be made into octagonal/hexagonal shape upon request. This pen can be made in sizes small, medium, large and extra large.

The Church Hill

The Church Hill is a cigar shaped pen. It can have a long flat profile or have a nice round taper though length of the pen. This model does have a seamless body to cap fitment, and is typically not postable. It can be made with or without a clip, and a matching pen rest is a nice touch to go along with this pen. This pen can be made in sizes small, medium, large and extra large.

The Maymont

The Maymont has a rounded taper towards the end of the pen. It has seamless body to cap fitment and is postable. More defined tapers can be acquired if a deep post is requested. Finials can be flattened, rounded, beveled, or custom shaped. This pen can have a clip or be clipless. This pen can be made in sizes small, medium, large, and extra large.

The West End

This pen has a straight body with a step at the cap and body. The ends will have finials that typically taper to a sharp point or rounded point. This pen is postable and can be made in sizes small, medium, large, and extra large.

The Shockoe Bottom

The Shockoe Bottom will have slightly curved tapers towards the end of the pen. There is a step at the body and cap. The finials will continue with the rounded taper of the pen and can be flat, rounded, beveled or customized. This pen is postable and can be made in any size from small, medium, large, and extra large.

The Fan

The Fan has a tapered shape from the cap through the body. There is a seamless body to cap fitment and is postable.  Finials can be flat, rounded, beveled, or custom shaped. This pen can be made in sizes small, medium, large, and extra large.

The Monument

The Monument model is a completely cylindrical pen with no taper.  The joint at the cap and body is smooth.  The finials can be shaped in various ways or remain flat.  The pen is not postable and it can be shaped to include a flat the entire length of the pen to prevent rolling.  This pen can be made in sizes small, medium, large and extra larger.
